cYGEGC 2010 Conference Schedule

During the conference each participant, as well as chosen keynotes, will take part in interesting technical exchanges through presentations, extended abstracts and discussions. A variety of specialties will be represented, including:

• Case histories
• Advances in modeling/testing
• Environmental geology
• Geohazards
• Soil and rocks mechanics
• Geoenvironmental engineering
• GIS and remote sensing

A number of keynote address from leaders in the Geotechnical Community will focus on developing skills for successful careers in academia, consulting and business management. These keynotes aim to demonstrate the significance of sound technical know-how and the importance of professional development through involvement with professional societies and mentoring, while also stressing that a balance between successful career and personal life is achievable.

Each presentation will have a duration of 12 minutes with an additional 3 minutes of questions. Presentations will need to be provided in a file format compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint.
